Kolar, September 10 (UNI) Police in Karnataka’s Kolar have registered a case against three youths belonging to a certain community for supporting the Pakistan cricket team.
According to the complainant R Venkateshappa, after Pakistan’s victory in the Asia Cup match between India and Pakistan, youths from certain communities shared pictures and messages praising Babar Azam’s team on their WhatsApp statuses.
Pakistan defeated India with one ball to spare in a close match. Pakistan needed 26 runs in the last two overs but in the 19th over of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Pakistan added 19 runs to win the match.
It should be noted that former Indian captain Virat Kohli scored his 71st international century in the match played against Afghanistan on Thursday, after which many Pakistani cricketers praised Kohli in one voice. (UNI)
