Helicopter crashed in Afghanistan, 3 people died

Kabul: An Afghan military helicopter crashed on Saturday, killing 3 people including the pilot and co-pilot while 5 others were injured. The Ministry of Defense has confirmed the accident in a statement. The statement said that the accident occurred on Saturday afternoon due to a technical fault.

The plane was a Blackhak helicopter, which crashed on the Kabul Military University campus after taking off for training. “An American Blackhawk helicopter, which was on training, crashed due to a technical fault, killing three people and injuring five others,” Defense Ministry spokesman Inayatullah said.
