Rains lashing sections of J&K; better weather is expected starting tomorrow

 Srinagar, Sep 11 (GNS): Jammu and Kashmir were hit by rain, despite the weatherman’s prediction that things will get better starting tomorrow.

 

According to local meteorological agency, Srinagar recorded 29.2mm of rainfall in the previous 24 hours as of 8:30 a.m., Pahalgam 4.8mm, Gulmarg 3.0mm, Jammu 0.2mm, and Bhaderwah 0.3mm.

 

According to the forecast, mild to moderate rain and thunder were expected across large area in the coming 24 hours. Weather improvement is anticipated beginning on September 12, he said.
According to GNS, Srinagar’s low temperature for the night was 16.1°C as opposed to 17.7°C the night before. 
For the summer capital at this time of year, the temperature was 2.4°C higher than average.
